2007 Ozarks Fall Color Tour - The NON-Event for 2007

For 2007, the Ozarks Fall Color Tour will again be a gathering for dinner at the Wiederkehr Wine Cellars banquet room. I'll bet there may even be a gathering at the Oark General Store on Saturday for lunch. For my part, there will be no organized ride. Folks that would like to use any of my previous maps, GPS files, etc... will be welcome to meet me for lunch and dinner on Saturday. Odds are, you might even see me on a quiet, solitary trail ride of my own before lunch & dinner too. Anyone that happens to want to bring a street bike, or dual sport bike, or bicycle for that matter, and ride some of the famous Ozarks trails & roads on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, then join me for a meal are welcome.

Details & meal costs will be a pass-thru. The banquet room at Wiederkehr Vineyards is reserved for Saturday October 27th.

Most riders stay at the Hampton Inn - Clarksville, AR. I know that I will be staying there too.

Email updates, to those that are on the email list, will start later in August. In October I'll make all my old GPS files available to previous riders. I will make available all of my favorite road loops too. The files will be converted to GPX format, which should easily open in whichever GPS software you use. In addition, the GPX files will open in Google Earth Plus software, for a 3D view of the previous loops.

The 2005 Ozarks Fall Color Tour was our 7th annual ride in the Ozark National Forest. It was the last "organized" event. The ride was October 29 & 30, 2005. It was our last ride offering roll charts and maps. Click here for photos and details of the ride.
